They are being provided free of cost by community partners unless otherwise specified, will typically require an advance registration, and may be offered on a variety of different platforms like Zoom, Skype, or Teams, which may require that you have access to that app on your device. Hiring events often ask that you submit a résumé before the date of the event in order to be considered for a same day interview. Events marked with an asterisk (*) are being held in-person. MultiCare Hiring Event | Tuesday, November 24th | 11:00am – 2:00pm | FREE

WorkSource will be hosting a hiring event for MultiCare. This is primarily medical office work, working within the MultiCare system. These positions are perfect for individuals who need a flexible job where they can hand pick their shifts. Interviews will be done virtually during the event. If you want to be interviewed, you need to login through a computer, not through a phone. Also, please have your camera/audio able to use for interviews.

The Mobile Resource Center will provide on-site support to residents across Pierce County by connecting them with COVID-19 relief programs such as mortgage and rental assistance, free transportation, and senior nutrition. In addition to emergency relief programs, participants also can apply for regular services offered by Pierce County, including energy assistance and home repair.

The Laborers Union is one of the most impactful unions in Washington State. Many of the large-scale construction projects in the state are staffed by them, and they are integral to the construction of the most important infrastructure in this region. Find Work Friday will feature employers looking for employees in Thurston County.  You will have the opportunity to hear from each company for 15 minutes and ask questions at the end.  This event will be held the second Friday of the month and feature different employers each month.
